Elaine Jin admits cancer treatment tougher the second time around
4 Apr – Hong Kong actress Elaine Jin has recently made her first appearance on Suzie Wong's radio show since admitting to battling cancer yet again.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who arrived at the studio in a hat and a face mask, shared that she had just completed her second chemotherapy, which she admitted to be much more challenging than the first one.
During the radio interview, Suzie also revealed that Elaine wore the hat as her hair started to fall off because of her treatment.
"I shed a lot of hair that it was really shocking. The entire bathtub was full of hair when I was showering," said Elaine.
She also admitted that while she was psychologically ready to lose her hair, it was another thing altogether when it actually happened.
However, the actress stressed that she would try not to let herself be wallowed in self-pity, as she still has a long way to go in her battle against cancer.
