Ed Skrein to play evil cyborg in 'Alita: Battle Angel'

Ed Skrein is set to appear in the upcoming big screen manga adaptation "Alita: Battle Angel."

The UK actor, known for his roles in "Game of Thrones" and "Deadpool," has signed up to the film, which is being produced by James Cameron, The Hollywood Reporter states. In doing so he joins the existing cast members Rosa Salazar, Christoph Waltz and Jackie Earl Haley.

The futuristic movie tells the tale of a female cyborg-turned-bounty hunter. Skrein will once again play the villain as the wicked cyborg Zapan.
