Inspired by one of the most timeless symbols of love, the pearl, Dyson launches a limited-edition colour combination in elegant Ceramic Pink and Rose Gold tones.

Dyson takes an academic approach to colour, researching the way in which tones work together. In-house Designers drew inspiration from the pearl while designing this edition. Dyson’s colour palettes are engineered as carefully as the machines and hair care is a bold testing ground for colour. Striking a balance between making a statement and creating something that is a delight to use, complementing the colourway is an ultra-matte finish, which was achieved through precision-applied satin paint topcoats to offer a smooth soft touch texture and an easier grip.

The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer in Ceramic Pink and Rose Gold costs S$699 and will soon be available at Dyson Demo Stores and Dyson.com.sg.

Gucci Beauty has launched the Gucci Beauty Space pop-up and everyone is invited! Available now until 14 April 2024, the Gucci Beauty Space is located in the atrium of Vivocity shopping mall, operating from 10am to 9:30pm.

Adorned in the signature green hue of the house of Gucci, the pop-up features open stations showcasing all the favourite pieces from Gucci Beauty, making it a one-stop destination for beauty shoppers.

Welcoming shoppers is the beauty wheel, positioned against one of the walls of the pop-up. It showcases the Floral collection, The Bloom collection, and the newest liquid foundation from the brand, Éternité de Beauté.

At the center of attention is The Alchemist’s Garden, presenting the most premium pieces of the range inspired by the idea of a magical garden where scents and emotions intertwine. Each fragrance from this unique range is crafted to evoke different moods and experiences, inviting wearers to explore and indulge in the enchanting world of Gucci Beauty.

Other stations within the pop-up showcase some of the brand's favorites, such as the Gucci Concentré De Beauté, the house's inaugural concealer, the Gucci Blush De Beauté, and an extensive selection of lip colors, including Rouge à Lèvres Mat.

South Korean singer IU is Estee Lauder's global brand ambassador

Estée Lauder announced that it has signed acclaimed Korean singer, songwriter and actress, IU, as its newest Global Brand Ambassador. IU will be Estée Lauder’s first Korean Global Brand Ambassador and will be featured in campaigns for the brand’s hero franchises, Advanced Night Repair and Double Wear. IU’s first campaign will debut in April 2024. IU joins the current roster of Estée Lauder Global Ambassadors, including Ana de Armas, Amanda Gorman, Bianca Brandolini D’Adda, Carolyn Murphy, Grace Elizabeth, Imaan Hammam, Karlie Kloss, Manushi Chhillar and Yang Mi.

Cartier is showcasing new watches at Watches & Wonders 2024

Cartier is participating in the Watches & Wonders this year. Through its participation, the Maison has always distinguished itself through the creation of unique forms, beginning with the design and crafting of silhouettes that fit instantly recognisable shapes.

Cartier perceives the magic of time, measuring its beauty and revealing its mystery through its watchmaking repertoire. An infinite creative field that allows for all kinds of exploration, from the most formal to the most abstract, from the most technical to the most precious, from the most daring to the most fantastic. An invisible magic, a connection between style and spirit, intertwines all of these creations.

We've got a sneak peek of some of the newest watches that have been reinterpreted, including the Tortue Monopoussoir Chronograph watch from the Cartier Privé collection.

Cartier is inviting us to play with the mystery of time. Sometimes it's an optical phenomenon, like the Reflection de Cartier watch, which shifts the real into the imaginary. Sometimes it's an unexpected measure, like that of the Santos-Dumont Rewind watch, which takes time backwards thanks to a movement that turns the hands counter-clockwise, or the Santos de Cartier Dual Time watch, which allows you to read the time simultaneously in two different places.

This year, a fascinating chimera, born from a meeting of the zebra and crocodile, inspires this entirely paved creation. It is simultaneously graphic and organic, with each stripe lacquered by hand. The silhouette of this imaginary creature encircles a diamond-shaped dial, as if to embrace it. The delicacy of the engraving around each coloured stone reflects the Maison's expertise.

To showcase the Prada Galleria handbag, Prada continues its partnership with world-renowned actor Scarlett Johansson, in an exploration of the depth of the craft of performing. The campaign is a celebration of technique, an ode to the mechanism of acting as the true motor of cinema – and to the talent of the actor. Acclaimed for her skill, Johansson has gained Tony and BAFTA awards as well as two Academy Award nominations during her career.

Captured in New York City by director Jonathan Glazer, the still and motion images showcase Johansson as an actor, honing her art – repeating phrases with different feeling and meaning, she showcases the infinite self-transformation that define an actor’s skill. Abstracted, unreal, it is film at its most cinematic. Yet, as Johansson exits the studio, we then leap from screen to reality – albeit a reality fictionalized, idealized for us. In a quintessentially Prada dichotomy, the intimacy the act of performing is able to generate contrasts with a panoramic normality of everyday life. Cinéma vérité – Johansson, seemingly undirected, as her true self.

The instrument of Johansson’s everyday is the Prada Galleria, seen here as a tool of life rather than a product, a part of an everyday wardrobe. As with Johansson its persona can transform; as with acting, it is a symbol of excellence in craft. Here, the Prada Galleria is showcased, in motion, as a fundamental facet of a woman’s reality.

Tiffany & Co. celebrated the opening of its latest exhibition, Tiffany Wonder, at Tokyo Node gallery yesterday (11 April).

Guests included Pharrell Williams, Rosé, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley​, Olivia Wilde, Gen Hoshino, Ai Tominaga, Ayaka Miyoshi, Makiko Takizawa, Mitsuki Takahata, Bruna Marquezine, Sebastián Yatra, Anne Curtis, Win Metawin, Baifern Bah, Felix Mallard, Gabriella Brooks, Enhypen, Rowoon, Da Mi Kim, Greg Hsu, Laurinda Ho, Yi Mengling and more. Each attendee wore Tiffany & Co. designs. The exclusive celebration featured a performance by Japanese singer-songwriter, musician, actor and writer Gen Hoshino​.

Opening to the public on 12 April, Tiffany Wonder brings visitors on a visual journey through hundreds of design masterworks, legendary diamonds and breathtaking wonders. Archival creations, contemporary high jewelry and more tell a story of craft and creativity, heritage and modernity at Tiffany & Co. over a span of 187 years. A celebration of respect and creativity, various aspects of the exhibition are dedicated to the ways in which Tiffany & Co. is inspired by Japan. The immersive show is Tiffany & Co.’s largest exhibition to date, featuring 10 rooms and nearly 500 objects that explore themes that are central to the House’s identity and uplift Tiffany’s longstanding connection to Japan.

Tiffany Wonder opens at Tokyo Node gallery, located at Toranomon Hills Station Tower, on 12 April and will run through 23 June. Tickets are available on the Tiffany & Co. app on the iOS and Google Play app stores.
