The coveted Dsquared2 Skate Moss boots first launched on the Fall/Winter 2011 runway and instantly became an hit for its unique design. The shoe resembles an ice skate after co-founders Dean and Dan Caten were inspired by their childhood love of figure skating in their home of Canada. The boot reimagines a figure skate as a lace-up stiletto boot detailed with a metallic “blade” for a sole.
