Donnie Yen denies replacing Jet Li in the new "xXx"

19 Feb - Martial arts actor Donnie Yen has denied rumours that he is replacing Jet Li in the upcoming movie, "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage".

According to On CC News, the actor, who also stars in the Vin Diesel movie, stated that his role is different than Jet's antagonistic role in the movie.

"I hope to try out a new role in every movie I make. This time, the action scenes are special. Vin Diesel and I have a very unique fighting scene. It's very challenging," said Donnie.

Donnie also revealed that he will also be reuniting with "Ong-Bak" star, Tony Jaa, in the movie.

He added that aside from discussing the script with lead star Vin Diesel, the two of them also shared parenting tips.

"He's a family man like me. We both think that family is the most important thing besides filming. Even his girlfriend comes to the set sometimes to chat with my wife," he said.
