Dong Xuan moves to Australia for Gao Yunxiang

2 Jul – It was revealed that actress Dong Xuan has recently moved her whole family to Australia to be near her husband Gao Yunxiang, who will be on trial for his sexual assault case.

As reported on Mingpao, the "Eight Heroes" actress who had not been spotted by the media since the case made the news, was recently seen attending the bail hearing at the New South Wales Supreme Court, though declined to answer any questions from reporters.

Sources revealed that she is now residing in an apartment in Chatswood, a major residential district in Sydney, along with her daughter and mother in-law - and will be taking a hiatus from her acting job to focus on her husband's case.

It was also reported that one of the reasons Dong decided to move to the country was so that she could prove to the court that Gao will not abscond once he is released on bail, and will stay to prove his innocence.

Back in March, Dong released a short statement regarding her husband's sexual assault case, saying, "I apologise for causing concern to everyone. I believe in my husband."
