NewJeans member Haerin is Dior’s new brand ambassador

Emerging K-pop icon, Haerin of K-pop girl group NewJeans has been named Dior's ambassador for jewelry, fashion and beauty.

The 16-year-old NewJeans member is the last member to snag an ambassador role. The other members have already secured respective deals with other luxury brands: Minji is contracted with Chanel; Hanni is with Gucci and Armani Beauty; Danielle is with Burberry and YSL Beauty, and Hyein is with Louis Vuitton.

"This is an opportunity to celebrate the privileged ties binding more than ever the NewJeans singer and Dior. Between elegance and audacity, a unique friendship in the name of creativity," Dior shared in a media statement.

NewJeans rose to fame with their debut single 'Attention' last year, which has since surpassed 47 million views on YouTube. The K-pop band's other tracks like 'Ditto' and 'OMG' have landed on Billboard's Hot100 chart.
