Dingdong Dantes sharpens guitar skills during lockdown
15 Apr – With not much to do during lockdown, Dingdong Dantes decided to pick up on his guitar lessons again after many years.
The Kapuso actor posted a photo of him playing with his guitar and revealed that he was inspired by Kim Atienza, who recently started learning how to play the said instrument to fill his days.
"Back in grade school, I was a drummer of an amateur rock band whose only claim to fame was winning first runner up in the school's '94 Battle Of The Bands. Second out of only 2 participating groups! Since then, I've always wanted to learn how to play a whole song on guitar," wrote Dantes.
The actor stated that the farthest he has ever reached was learning 3 chords- G, D and A.
"I am grateful to my friend (and grade school classmate) for hooking me up with one of their stocks! Fortunately, there are also on-line tutorials for beginners like me," he added.
