Dingdong Dantes faces challenge filming under new normal
10 Sep – Having to resume the production of "Descendants of the Sun" under the new normal, Dingdong Dantes recently admitted that it was a challenge for everybody involved.
As reported on GMA News, the actor posted a photo of him working on his laptop under the scorching sun, and wrote, "We are at Day 7 of our lock-in shoot here in Rizal to finish Descendants of the Sun PH. The initial few days of the shoot was challenging because we were all adjusting to the new protocols. But it was a bonus that the team has already established a good and smooth working relationship, so the adjustment became easier."
"So, today is rest day, and I had to ride a few kilometres to get some signal within the property. Even though the connection is difficult, it's time to check on my family - my wife and kids, who I truly miss; @dingdong.ph, which has an ongoing dry run; and @aktorph. I hope that you and your loved ones are also healthy over there," he added.
The TV series, which had to be postponed earlier in March due to enhanced community quarantine order following the surge in COVID-19 cases, will resume its broadcast before the end of the year.
Based on the 2016 hit Korean drama of the same name, the series also co-stars Jennylyn Mercado, Rocco Nacino, and Jasmine Curtis-Smith.
