Didi Astillah on video of her being carried down Mount Kinabalu: I was not being a brat!
6 Feb - Didi Astillah recently dismissed the notion that she was being a spoiled brat for having had to be carried by sister Bella Astillah down Mount Kinabalu as seen in the recent viral video she shared on social media.
The singer, who responded to a netizen who made a comment saying that Didi was being "a brat" and could "break her sister's bones" by being carried all the way down the mountain during their descent, stated that people seemed to forget that they had just climbed Mount Kinabalu, the tallest mountain in Southeast Asia.
"Everybody who knows me since my school days knows that I am not a sports person, which means that my stamina is not strong," she said.
Didi also said that she has already explained her situation in the caption, that she didn't expect to suddenly feel panicked when they were going down the mountain, as she was doing well during the ascent.
"I was thankful that my sister was there. It's not that there was no mountain guide there, but it was just that when it was your own sister, the panic subsided much faster," she said.
However, Didi said that she was still thankful to have been able to climb Mount Kinabalu with Bella and that it would be something that she would never forget.
Meanwhile, others could not help but express admiration for Bella's strength, as not only was she carrying her sister down, but was doing it while wearing baju kurung.
