'Dicks: The Musical' Has Me Spinning
A24 has done it again. The production company—known for creating hits such as Eighth Grade, Bodies Bodies Bodies, and Beef—has added yet another comedy to their roster. So, what is this one about? Take your best guess. I promise whatever you come up with won’t compare to the madness they’ve created.

Did you think of something? Was it a movie called Dicks: The Musical, which follows long-lost twins who reunite in a musical starring Megan Thee Stallion? No?! Me neither. I’m starting to believe the team at A24 is just picking topics out of a hat to mess with us.
Dicks: The Musical follows Craig Tiddle and Trevor Brock, who find each other after they were separated at birth. Together, they devise a Parent Trap-esque scheme to reunite their family—which, of course, doesn’t go as planned. The movie stars Aaron Jackson and Josh Sharp as the reunited brothers. Megan Thee Stallion follows up her She-Hulk cameo (no comment) as their no-nonsense boss. Actors Nathan Lane and Megan Mullally play the separated parents, while comedian Bowen Yang stars as... God?!
The first trailer for Dicks dropped this afternoon. Obviously, I watched it. Then, I watched it again. And again. Now, I have questions. So many questions. I'll drop 10 of them here and spare you the rest. By the way, Dicks: The Musical doesn’t have a premiere date yet. The trailer simply says “soon”—so for now, all we can do is wait and wonder.
