Denise Ho blames media for Joey Yung's distress
20 Nov – Denise Ho recently denounced reports saying that Joey Yung has been emotionally distressed by her recent statement on a radio show.
As reported on Popular Asians website, during another radio interview, Denise said, "The media always exaggerates the story, and I don't have any reaction to it. I will not be affected by these rumours and I will not believe it."
The singer also refused to comment on questions regarding her relationship with Joey and Wilfred. She said, "I will respect their requests and no longer make comments about this issue."
Denise added, "Silence doesn't mean that I am a coward. Deep down, I am a strong person."
Last week, the singer came out and announced that she is a lesbian in front of an enormous crowd during a gay pride parade. The announcement sparked questions about the sexual orientation of her good friend Joey Yung whom she was romantically rumoured with a few years ago.
Denise also blamed the media for dragging Joey into the picture. According to the singer, she had already forewarned Joey about her decision to disclose her homosexuality.
Meanwhile, Denise refused to comment on rumours saying that she is currently living with former co-star, Deng Jiuyun.
