Dee Hsu postpones TV show following sister's passing

6 Feb - Dee Hsu's talk show, "Dee Girls Talk" recently confirmed that they have postponed the recording of the show following news of Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu's death.

As reported on Epoch Times, the TV personality reportedly has contacted the programme producer to extend her leave, saying that she needed some time to deal with personal affairs and sort out her feelings following the tragic event.

The show had since confirmed the postponement, saying, "We fully support Xiao S to get herself together and return to [the show] at the perfect time. We also hope that the audience who show love for the show can support them and wish them well."

Meanwhile, Dee has also issued a statement via her manager saying that the family has decided not to share information as to when they will return to Taiwan.

"Since we are still processing related matters, the time of return to Taiwan will not be made public. Please understand," she said.

The TV host previously confirmed her sister Barbie's death amid rumours of her passing, saying that the former actress died from pneumonia stemming from influenza-related complications.
