Dayo Wong to hold stand-up comedy shows at HK Coliseum
13 Mar – Now that his movie is a box office success, Dayo Wong is making his return to stand-up comedy by launching 17 shows at the Hong Kong Coliseum.
According to Mingpao, the actor, who spoke about his upcoming shows, shared that the plan was actually conceived much earlier than the movie, and that it wasn't done because of the movie's success.
"We've planned it more than a year ago, and it took us a year just to get the venue," he said.
His last stand-up tour was in 2014, where he held 11 shows altogether.
"This time, it will be limited to Hong Kong and revolve around life in Hong Kong. It would not be fun to talk about Hong Kong overseas," he said.
On the other hand, when asked to address rumours that he will be marrying his girlfriend of four years soon, Dayo said, "Only time will tell."
