Recently, Dapur Hassan, owned by Hassan Sunny, the goalkeeper from the Singapore national team, has garnered a lot of attention from fans in China! They were all in Tampines Street, enjoying his food and even taking pictures with him. Who knew he was becoming very popular with overseas fans?

So, what is this stall that is attracting worldwide supporters of the goalie’s food? Dapur Hassan is located near the Tampines MRT, so there is an alternative way of transportation if you are feeling too lazy to drive.

The food stall opens at 8am, which is the perfect time to have your breakfast. Another thing to note is that the stall is Muslim-friendly! If you are lucky, you may get the privilege of having your breakfast cooked by Hassan himself!

The food served at the stall is typical of what you’d find in traditional Malay cuisine:

Nasi Lemak (S$4) and Mee Rebus (S$4). If you are craving something more, you could also try the Lontong (S$4) or the Mee Soto (S$4). The Tempeh (S$0.80) is also a good option if you want to snack on something.

As a full-time goalkeeper and part-time cook, he has made a name for himself in both the culinary and football worlds. It’s no wonder his followers travel from all over the globe to taste his food! If you ask me, I think this is the perfect chance for him to expand his food business all the way in China!

Keep on cooking tasty food and attracting more fans, Hassan!
