Cyndi Wang excited to return to the stage
28 Aug – Cyndi Wang was ecstatic to be back on stage eight months after her last show for the 2020 Hualien Summer Love Carnival music festival recently.
As reported on Epoch Times, the singer who kicked off her performance at the event on Lunar Valentine's Day with her hit song, "Your Thunder Is On Its Way", told the audience that she was very moved to see all of them there wearing their face mask.
"Even in such warm weather, all of you are still adhering to the pandemic prevention [guideline]. We haven't performed in public for so long, so we cherish this opportunity very much. Be sure to always wear your mask," she said.
Cyndi later performed the song "Na Nian Xia Tian Ning Jing de Hai" and "When You", accompanied by the audience who sang together with her, before ending the performance with the fast track "Heart to Heart".
The singer then revealed that she will have a new release soon to commemorate her 17th year in showbiz.
Other performers who participated in the event include Alex Chou, Austin Lee, Kelly Cheung, and Shi Shi.
