Coco Chiang will resort to online platforms to sell new cookbook

16 Jul - Although she was originally scheduled to appear at the Hong Kong Book Fair to promote her cookbook "Hot Chef", Coco Chiang recently assured that she is fine with the news that the event has been postponed due to the surge of COVID-19 cases.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress-turned-chef who joined six other star chefs to launch the said book, stated that the publishers have decided to sell the book online instead, and that they are confident that the book would do well due to the circumstances.

"Since everybody has more time to stay home to cook, it means that there is more tendency to use the air fryer and to buy the book. It would be helpful to the sales of this book," she said.

Coco added that the more important thing to her right now is to take care of her own health as well as her children.

In a previous interview, Coco, who graduated from the Le Cordon Bleu in London, revealed that the cookbook will have 40 new recipes specifically made for the use of air fryer. It is available in both Chinese and English.

"It is more convenient, time-saving, and healthy to cook using an air fryer instead of deep frying your food," she said.
