‘Coachella Queen’ Paris Hilton Talks Festival Shoes, Styling Tips and Her Absolut House of Cosmo
Paris Hilton is inviting Coachella festival-goers a respite from the heat with an immersive experience in collaboration with her 11:11 Media brand and Absolut — the Absolut House of Cosmo.
Hilton, a longtime fan of cosmopolitan cocktails, will host guests throughout the festival’s run, which kicks off on April 11. The activation includes a curated menu of Absolut cocktails, a “Sliving Room” lounge and interactive self-expression stations.

“I’m so excited to bring the Absolut House of Cosmo to Coachella,” she told Footwear News in an exclusive interview. “It’s all about confidence and fun, and being totally unapologetic, just like me, and it’s a space where you really celebrate self-expression and glam and sparkle, and I’ve always believed in owning who you are and to have fun while doing it.”
As a seasoned Coachella festival-goer, the star made an apt partner for the spirits brand. “My first time was over 20 years ago, and it was not what it is today. It was definitely smaller, but it was so much fun, just because it was the beginning of all these kind of big music festivals,” she recalled. “I always have the best time, and I love it, and now I’m the queen of Coachella.”
With years of experience comes wisdom. The “Coachella queen” advises traversing the festival grounds with comfortable backup shoes.
“You’re doing a lot of running around just to go to all the different acts that are performing, so I always bring a different pair of shoes with me,” she said. “So, if I’m wearing like a higher shoe, I’ll always bring [flats] in my purse, just the small little ballet flats, because they’re so comfortable to run around in.”
And with Coachella’s mix of hot days and cool desert nights, she offers another tip. “Sometimes it gets cold at night, so I think it’s also good just to bring another layer in case it gets cold.”
She also advises fans to accessorize with electric portable fans to beat the heat. To no one’s surprise, Hilton’s own fan is emblazoned with Swarovski crystals to match outfits. “That’s another way to up the fashion game mixed with the heat game,” Hilton added.
