Chu Pak Hong more careful after failed marriage

12 Jun – After the failure of his previous marriage, Hong Kong actor Chu Pak Hong admitted that he has become more careful when it comes to romance.

As reported on Singtao Daily, the actor who sat down for an interview to promote the Norris Wong movie, "My Prince Edward", stated that he learned the importance of trust following his failed marriage and would never check on the whereabouts of his other half at all times, unlike his very dependent character in the said movie.

"My ex was from Taiwan. When we were dating, we were in a long-distance relationship and were able to put aside any conflict. But we had more arguments the moment we tied the knot and started living together. It was harder not to see the problems when we're closer," he said.

Chu added that it took him a while before he could even move on from his divorce, and is now more careful about relationships.

On the other hand, when mentioned that he recently lost the Best Actor award to "Suk Suk" star Tai Bo at the Hong Kong Film Awards, the actor stated that being nominated is recognition enough for him.

"I hope that through this, many more filmmakers would know me and give me more opportunities to perform," he added.
