Christine Kuo confirms divorce proceedings underway
7 Apr - After much speculations, Christine Kuo finally admitted that she is now in the midst of finalising her divorce.
The actress shared as much recently when she appeared at an event with her beloved dog, saying that the legal procedures are now in progress but that it will take some time for it to be finalised.
When asked if it means that she is now free to do what she wants, Christine said that she is very free now and hopes to do more charity work to help others.
"I will be filming a small advertisement at the end of April, so I hope everything goes well," she said.
Asked if TVB has offered her a drama role, the actress said that she is currently busy with her schedule.
"I think that will come later. For now, I will film the advertisement first, and then I will slowly talk about doing dramas," she said.
It was back in January that Christine sparked rumours of divorce with husband William Luk, whom she married in 2018, after she said that people address her as Ms. Kuo now.
When asked if it's wrong to address her as Mrs. Lok, she hesitated before responding, "Let's talk about it when the time is right. There are some personal matters that need to be dealt with."
