The bob is undoubtably the style of 2023, which we called right at the start of the year. From Zendaya, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Hailey Bieber to Emily Ratajowski, Emma Stone and Hillary Duff, bobs are spreading like wildfire. But anyone who's had one themselves, will know that while it makes your hair a heap more manageable, quicker to wash and easier in lots of ways, you've said goodbye to the pineapple hairdo.
Quickly sweeping your hair into a ponytail, twist or bun is no longer an option with a jaw-length bob, though new bobbers will repeatedly reach to do so out of habit. If your bob is a little longer, you may have enough length for a little mini ponytail with the help of some clips. You know the one: the struggle ponytail, poking out a couple of inches like a little sprout.
But if it's more of a lob like Chrissy Teigen's, you still have enough for those quick swept-up 'dos, resulting in a cute little ponytail like the one she just posted on Instagram.
Arriving in London with her adorable kiddos for husband John Legend's upcoming show, Chrissy's all-natural mum snap was fresh-faced and far too glowy for someone who just did a transatlantic flight with three small children. Stripped back and hair extensions-free, Chrissy had her natural hair loosely pulled back into the low mini pony, and we're betting she's grateful right now she only took the bob to shoulder length.
