Trying to avoid the shopping crowds this festive season? Why not go online and order a Low GI Flourless Dark Chocolate Log Cake (S$84), lovingly crafted by this small local patisserie. The gluten-free and low sugar creation is composed of flourless chocolate sponge with Valrhona dark chocolate ganache and shavings. Only top quality, natural ingredients are used for the cakes, including the Japanese Yuzu White Chocolate Log Cake (S$72). The light and fluffy yuzu chiffon is made with Japanese yuzu, white chocolate ganache and embellished with crunchy pearls. The best part? The sugar has been reduced so it’s a dessert that’s well-balanced, and (almost) guilt-free.

The cake is made of Grand cru dark chocolate mousse layered with cocoa finger cake, orange marmalade, salted caramel, caramel parfait and hazelnut crisp. The rectangular shaped treat is then adorned with pretty delicate butterflies made of rice paper, alongside dark chocolate shards. Great for gifting is the Melting Snowman Chocolate Cake (S$11) - a mini surprise packed in Antoinette’s signature blue tins. The dark chocolate cake is studded with candied orange and macadamia nuts, and topped with a cute ‘melting’ marshmallow snowman. Meanwhile, kids will love Piccolo the Penguin, a quirky centerpiece made completely out of white and dark chocolate blocks (S$75).
