Chlo? Grace Moretz is taking New York City by storm and with a lot of leg. Moretz stepped out in the Big Apple today, donning very short khaki shorts that showed off her endless legs, paired with a black short-sleeved button down, and a Coach crossbody bag ($395; coach.com). The Neighbors 2 star accessorized with chic white sneakers, a simple black choker, and a few gold bracelets.

Moretz is in New York after the Toronto International Film Festival and the Deauville Film Festival, where she was promoting her newest film, Brain on Fire. The star seems to be focusing on herself lately, after calling it quits with Brooklyn Beckham, and pulling out of all of her future movie roles. "I pulled the plug on all my movies because I want to reassess who I am and find myself within my roles again," she shared with The Hollywood Reporter. "I'm realizing that I can slow down."

She further clarified her decision to E! Online: "It's not particularly time off ... I'm just becoming more picky and particular about what roles I'm choosing," she said. "Why not sit back, slow down, realize I'm 19 and go, 'Hey, let's make stuff that really, really hits hard with who I am and helps me figure out what it means to be a 19-year-old actor who is just doing her thing.'"

China launched a new amphibious assault ship Friday, capable of launching fighter jets and designed to strengthen the navy's combat ability in distant seas.
