Cherie Chung has no plans to make acting comeback
2 Feb - Cherie Chung has left showbiz for so long that making a comeback seems to be a far-fetched idea for her.
As reported on Mingpao News, the former actress, who left showbiz in 1991 after marrying husband Mike Chu, stated that she is not eager to make a return despite the fact that it has been nearly a decade since her husband passed away.
"It has been a while since I last made a movie. I don't think I know how to act anymore," she said.
When asked if she would make a cameo in any movie, Cherie smiled and responded, "No. Do I look like I have all the time in the world to make a cameo?"
On the other hand, Lawrence Cheng previously shared that he didn't want to intrude on Cherie's life, which is why he decided to film "Yuppie Fantasia 3" without her.
When mentioned about Lawrence previous interview, Cherie stated that Lawrence didn't even make an offer to her. However, she congratulated the actor for the new movie and promised to watch it at the cinema soon.
