Concerts? Meet and greets? We Malaysians love our Korean artists and they love us too! From the Borneo Sonic Music Festival to upcoming K-Events, more and more entertainers from Korea are adding Malaysia to the leg of their tour.

On 18 Aug 2023, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha fame, Kim Seon-ho made his Malaysian debut at Sungei Wang Plaza. Not to worry, as this is the just the beginning of many more K-events happening in 2023. Let’s have a look at some of the oppas and onnies visiting us, shall we?

1. DElight Party in KL

D&E, the K-pop duo and sub-unit derived from the renowned Super Junior boyband, is getting ready to kick off their highly anticipated ‘DElight Party’ world tour in 2023. Comprising the talented members Donghae and Hunhyuk, you should prepare yourself for an extraordinary evening filled with sensational music and electrifying energy.

After commencing with a grand 2-night concert held in Seoul, South Korea on 24 & 25 June, they have set forth on the Asian leg of their tour.

3. AREA52 in KL

Member of GOT7, Kunpimook Bhuwakul, titularly known as BamBam will finally be making his Malaysian debut much to the delight of his loyal fans. Not only did he grace us with his solo work, but he also lent his talents to fellow artist Jinyoung’s single “My Youth”.

In recent times, BamBam has been channeling his energy into a range of solo activities. He has been actively collaborating with other renowned celebrities and making memorable appearances on various entertaining variety shows.

One noteworthy project of his was a remarkable collaboration with rapper Sik-K, which was unveiled in August 2020, serving as BamBam’s most recent endeavour in the music scene. Of all the K-events happening, I personally am looking forward to this the most!
