Charis Ow welcomes first baby

14 Aug – Charis Ow has recently given birth to her first child.

The former Mouseketeer-turned-social media influencer and husband Daryll Tan shared the news via social media, revealing that they have named their first son, who was born on 8 August, Scotley Zach Tan (Chen Wen Xiong).

"Baby Scotley Zach arrived (WAY!) sooner than planned. We were joking about how he was probably shocked to be "extracted" out during his Tuesday chill time in the womb," they stated.

Further elaborating on the process, the couple then expressed, "We're all okay now. Mommy is managing her c-sec wound, blood pressure and getting into the groove of breastfeeding. Daddy is trying to improve his swaddling techniques and baby Scotley Zach is trying his best to fight off some mild jaundice."

"Our hearts are very full & we're very much in love with our baby boy! Do keep our little new family in your well thoughts and prayers."

Fans and friends alike took to the comments to congratulate the couple, including fellow influencers like Ceddy Ang, Nadhirah Zamani, Maryam Younarae, as well as businesswoman Vivy Yusof, who posted, "God bless you guys!! Congratulations Mom and Dad!"
