Chang Fei explains brother's absence from father's deathbed

28 Sep - Taiwanese entertainer Chang Fei recently shared that there is a reason why his younger brother, singer Fei Yu-ching was nowhere in sight when their father passed away on 21 September.

As reported on Epoch Times, Chang, who spoke to the media about Fei's absence from their family gathering, shared that he was told by their father to always adhere to the contract as a performer.

"The last thing my father told [Yu-ching] was to fulfill his obligation as an artiste and respect the contract that he signed. Dad even [gave words of encouragement] to him before my brother went to do a show," said Chang.

Chang said that Fei would also understand that an artiste should never be absent from the stage.

The entertainer also explained that Fei has never neglected his duty as a son prior to their father's death, even if he wasn't there before their father breathed his last.

"Whenever he returned to Taiwan in the past, he would take care of our father. He would look after him and take him out for a meal," he said.

The two brothers lost their father on 21 September, who passed away from kidney and organ failure.
