Chan Wing Chu and Helen Ng tie the knot
14 Jul – Celebrity couple Chan Wing Chun and Helen Ng are now officially married.
As reported on Mingpao, the couple recently tied the knot in a ceremony held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, witnessed by family and friends including Maggie Chan, Louis Yuen, and Tony Hung.
Said Chan, he is happy to be able to marry Helen in a spiritual place that has such lavish history.
On the other hand, Helen, who couldn't help but shed a tear during the ceremony, admitted that she was not only moved by the beautiful ceremony but also by the sincerity shown by Chan's own children, who helped a lot in making the wedding a reality.
Prior to marrying the 57-year-old Helen, 62-year-old Chan was married for 29 years to wife Cheung On Lai before she died in 2010.
Helen, who dated Chan for two years before he popped the question at the TVB Anniversary dinner last year, shared that she hopes to continue to share their life experiences together.
In a previous interview, Chan revealed that he decided to marry Helen because the latter has never been married before and never experienced walking down the aisle in a wedding dress.
The couple will go on a Mediterranean cruise for their honeymoon following their wedding banquet in Kowloon Bay.
