Catherine Chau denies receiving a hefty fee for her TVB comeback
26 Jun – Catherine Chau has dismissed the idea that TVB is paying her a hefty fee to make her return in the new series, "Children's Hospital".
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who spoke to the media at the press conference of her latest film, "Declared Legally Dead", stated that the remuneration was never a big part of her decision to return.
"The most important thing is to work with a good team on a project that has a good script and a good role," she said, adding that she had wanted to collaborate with producer Dave Fong again for a while now.
Asked if she is playing a lead character in the said series, Catherine stated that she will be playing one of the main characters.
She also dismissed the idea of her doing the drama as "returning home" - despite the fact that she was once a TVB actress.
"I didn't feel like it was a homecoming. Mainly I just want to be a part of a good project," she added.
