  • Olivia Jade is moving out of her parents’ house to avoid the media attention surrounding the college admissions scandal.

  • OJ is also focusing on rebuilding her beauty vlog brand and spending time with “other vloggers that inspire her.”

It seems like it’s been eons since news of the celeb college admissions scandal, aka Operation Varsity Blues, broke, but it’s not over yet! As a reminder, stars of the scandal Lori Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, pleaded not guilty to charges of money laundering and wire fraud in April, and they still haven’t gone to trial/heard a verdict on their case yet. And FYI, they could face up to 40 years if found guilty.

But while attention on the scandal dies down a bit, it looks like Lori and Mossimo’s beauty vlogger daughter Olivia Jade, a person who never wanted to go to college in the first place, is looking to distance herself from the situation as much as possible-so much so that she’s reportedly moving out of their house.

A source tells People, “Olivia is doing well. What’s going on with her parents is still upsetting to her, but she is also trying to focus on her own life as well. Her parents still face a lot of media attention. There is paparazzi at the family house every day. It’s very stressful for everyone. Olivia has decided to move out for now. She doesn’t want to be followed when she leaves her home.”

There have also been reports that Olivia is “terrified” that she might have to testify against her parents and “distraught and embarrassed” by what her parents did to get her into USC. But with this move into a new place, she’s also trying to move forward.

The source goes on to share that Olivia “wants to focus on rebuilding her business”-after the scandal broke, she lost business with Sephora, TRESemmé, and Estée Lauder-and adds that “she spends time with friends and other vloggers that inspire her.” Oookay then!
