Carol DoDo Cheng to host travel show on HOY TV
9 Dec – Carol DoDo Cheng is set to host a new travel show with HOY TV, nearly two months after leaving TVB.
As reported on Mingpao, the TV personality, who spoke about the upcoming project, stated that the reason she decided to do the show was because of producers Sandy Yu and Joan Chow.
"They knew my contract was up and they knew I really wanted to travel after three years of being cooped up, so they conceived this programme so that I can go to different places and do special things," she said.
Carol stated that she welcomed the offer happily as she is already used to working with the two before.
It is noted that Joan has produced many programmes of Carol's in the past, including "DoDo Goes Shopping" and "DoDo Midnight Quests".
Carol left TVB after 44 years with the company back in October this year. However, she stressed that the two maintain a friendly relationship.
