Carlos Chan not ready for marriage just yet
17 May – Although his relationship with actress Jennifer Yu is as good as it can be, Carlos Chan recently admitted that he is not yet ready to settle down with her.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who has been doing more public appearances since starring in TVB drama "Daddy Cool", said that he needed to make more money before he could ask his girlfriend to marry him.
"We need to work harder to achieve that goal. I have been in showbiz for ten years, but based on my calculation, I have yet to make a lot," he said.
Carlos also expressed hope that big businesses would look his way and give him more opportunity outside of acting.
"In fact, I would love to be a spokesperson for fashion brands. That could save me a lot of money in terms of wardrobe," he added, jokingly.
When asked if they have a time set for marriage, Carlos said that they haven't thought that far yet, and would prefer to focus on work for now.
