Carlos Chan admits breakup with Jennifer Yu
19 Jun – Hong Kong actor Carlos Chan recently confirmed that he and girlfriend Jennifer Yu have called it quits.
As reported on HK01, rumours of a breakup sparked back in May, when Carlos declined to discuss more about his future plans with Jennifer when asked about it by the media.
Tabloids later alleged that the relationship ended after the actress cheated on Carlos with millionaire Victor Hui.
Carlos had since clarified the situation, saying that while they have indeed ended their relationship, it was a mutual decision between the two and involved no outside influence.
"Even if the relationship changes, I still regard Jennifer as my closest relative. We've experienced highs and lows in the past few years. [...] No need to blame anyone for a separation. It's just fate that it ended so soon," wrote the actor.
He also urged the media and public alike not to point fingers at Jennifer, saying that he will continue to give her his blessings and wish her happiness.
