Carlo Ng is no longer with TVB

23 Nov - Carlo Ng has now departed from TVB.

The actor, who has been with TVB for 30 years, shared the news on social media with a photo of him outside of TV City on 21 November.

He wrote, "I am honoured to be able to work for a TV station that has accompanied the growth of many people for 30 years. Thank you TVB for giving me the opportunity to perform."

He was especially grateful to producer Man Wai Hung for arranging great roles for him and giving him the opportunity to perform every time there was a new show.

His list of thanks also includes producers Liu Chun Shek and Andy Chan, TVB Executive Catherine Tsang, Sister Zhen (TVB senior executive) and Ho Lai Chuen.

"The end of one paragraph is the beginning of another!" he added.

Carlo's most impressive role in recent years is playing The Fellow Association's Fung Chun-mei in "A Fist Within Four Walls". In the '90s, he was one of the members of the New Five Tigers alongside Leo Ku, Louis Koo, Hawick Lau, and Ho Yuen Hang; believed to be the next generation of Hong Kong top actors at the time.
