Call The Midwife's Emerald Fennell walked the pink carpet in London's Leicester Square last night for the European premiere of Barbie.

Emerald stars as Barbie's best friend Midge in the highly-anticipated film which will hit theatres on July 21.

The actress embraced her inner Barbie for the occasion, wearing a chic Schiaparelli two-piece. The black vintage inspired blazer and skirt combo featured contrasting white detailing giving us all the glamour vibes. Emerald completed the look with a matching handbag, and pink accessories — it is a Barbie premiere, after all!

Emerald kept her short hair simple, and went for a glowy makeup look complete with a glossy pink lip.

The actress was joined by fellow stars Margot Robbie, who leads the film as Barbie, Ryan Gosling, Barbie's Ken, and director Greta Gerwig.

This is the first time the iconic Barbie character will be brought to life on-screen after many years of talks about a live-action Barbie film. The movie will explore Barbie and Ken's journey of self-discovery after they are given the opportunity to leave their picture-perfect life in Barbie Land for a chance to live in the real world.

Fans have been getting really excited to see the new Barbie film — which comes out the same day as Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer.

With the official social media account for the film dropping the main trailer back in May, we can't wait to see the film when it comes out on 21 July.
