BTS' Jin to participate in torch relay for Paris Olympics?
3 Jul - It was revealed that BTS' Jin is set to participate as a torchbearer for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Sources revealed on 2 July that the singer will be travelling to France soon to participate in the torch relay, though the time and venue for the activity has not been revealed.
As to why he was selected to be a torchbearer, it was believed that the success and popularity of BTS may play a big role in it.
It is noted that Jin was the first member of BTS to have completed his mandatory military service, having finally been discharged last month.
In a recent note to fans, the singer said that he is currently working on his individual career while awaiting the other members to regroup. Jin will be releasing new music and participate in variety shows in the coming months.
