Boy Abunda would like to take a break
27 Sep - "I don't have [a plan to retire], but sometimes I think about it."
That was what TV personality Boy Abunda said when asked whether he has ever thought about retiring from his career, after being in showbiz for so long and working almost every day.
Abunda, who appeared at the launch of his new book, "It's Like This", stated that he would sometimes think to himself whether or not he can go on a vacation for a whole month. But at the same time, he is also thankful for all the work that has come his way.
"ABS-CBN has treated me so well all these years but I compare the weariness to the blessings, that's why I'm eternally grateful for all the blessings," he said.
But while he has no plans to retire anytime soon, the talk show host, who hosts "Tonight with Boy Abunda" on weekdays, and "The Bottomline" every Saturday, said that he would like to take a break from work someday.
"When? I don't know. I will listen to the whisper," he added.
