Bowie Cheung denies she is expecting a baby

21 Sep – Bowie Cheung recently dismissed the idea that there is a "double happiness" for her and Benjamin Yuen that prompted her to share news of their engagement.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who surprised many by sharing that the two of them have been engaged for a year now, denied that she was pregnant, saying that she decided to announce the good news since it was the anniversary of the day Benjamin popped the question.

When asked why he proposed at Niagara Falls, Bowie said that Benjamin had a show in the area, and she decided to follow him as she had some free time and had never been to Canada before.

"It was not planned. It was just a series of small events. He wanted to go for a morning jog and since I couldn't sleep because of the jet lag, I decided to go with him. It turned out that he actually brought the ring and set up the camera with the pretense to record us stretching," she said.

Bowie stated that she never thought about how she would respond to such a thing, and couldn't even control her reaction when it happened.

"I think it was a wonderful set up, just the two of us in our little world," she said.

However, Bowie made no mention as to when they were getting married.
