Bowie Cheung denies Benjamin Yuen will pop the question

9 Oct – TVB actress Bowie Cheung has dismissed the idea that she and boyfriend Benjamin Yuen will get engaged during their trip to Japan.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who spoke to the media at TVB's October Star birthday party recently, stated that she will not anticipate any proposal from the actor during their upcoming trip, despite speculations that the actor will pop the question in front of his mother.

"I am not saying that he is not romantic, but we have a consensus about this thing. For now, we will just focus on work and taking care of our family. We will discuss about marriage later," she said.

When asked whether she is comfortable going on a trip with Benjamin and his mother, Bowie said that she often travels with her parents and the elderly, and so will have no problem looking after his mother while on the trip.

Benjamin and Bowie started dating in mid-2017 after working together on the TVB travel show, "All Work No Pay Holiday". Prior to Bowie, the actor was in a relationship with former beauty queen Jennifer Shum.
