What sexy means to LMFAO

American "party rock" duo LMFAO responsible for clubbing staple "Party Rock Anthem" shot to fame with their crazy hair, outfits and pumping tunes.

The uncle (Redfoo) and nephew (Skyblu) group talks about shuffling, their "Sexy and I Know It" video and the design of their costumes in an exclusive interview with Yahoo! Southeast Asia.

Are you sick of people asking you to teach them how to shuffle dance?

Redfoo: No, because you always get a chance to invent a new way to communicate. There is something in teaching people how to shuffle. There is something that I learn from that. A new style. Because everybody has a unique walk, a unique shuffle.

Skyblu: It's like asking are you sick of talking to people, because body language is a language.

Now let's talk about your newest video, "Sexy and I Know It." It takes some balls to shoot that video.

Skyblu: Yeah. Literally. Hahah.. It takes balls to shoot some balls.

Redfoo: Well, obviously it was cold outside, but that didn't stop us to wear those speedos. And it was very fun, probably the most we've ever had. Venice is a hometown, we grew up there. Since then, I've been in speedos all the time. I even wear speedos to the club.

To the club? Really?

Redfoo: Yeah! We're DJs, and when we play "Sexy and I Know It" we tear it down. And nobody says nothing. Even the toughest cats, they were like, "Hey man, can I take a picture with you?" And I was right there, balls swinging out, kinda like an elephant man or something.

Ron Jeremy made a cameo appearance in that video. How was it like working with him?

Skyblu: Oh wow, he's a very talented man. He puts in long hours and he goes all the way.

Redfoo: He's a very funny individual, always telling jokes. He aims to please. Hahah..

There are several cameos there besides Ron Jeremy, like Wilmer Valderrama and several others. Did you pick them yourself?

Redfoo: They picked themselves. We were just... we played with the idea of "Sexy and I Know It" video and we had some people in mind. Everybody in there, I mean we did some audition, we went through some audition process and we already had an idea of who's sexy, who's not. And after the audition we knew that sexy is a mindset, it's an attitude. And so Ron Jeremy, he was already wearing the shuffling in one of his movies. And he wanted to just have fun. And Wilmer, he's a good friend of Sky, and he has a wink. I'm a man, he's a man, but he has a sexy wink.

"Party Rock Anthem" is probably the most successful song of LMFAO, but what is your favorite song?

Redfoo: Probably "Yes", from my first album. Generally it's a great uplifting song about dreams. "Everyday you see your dream". That's a deep one.

Skyblu: I'd have to say "Yes" is definitely one of my favorite. There are a lot of favorites, and in different times you feel like listening to different songs. But "Yes", whenever you hear it, it makes you feel good.

Did you get the chance to party in Jakarta or during your Asian Tour?

Redfoo: Oh, shoot. Not yet. But our show is a party for sure. And I'm very excited because I happen to go to the venue and the sound is pumping, it's a nice cozy spot, and I can feel it in my soul tonight that everybody will have a good time. The people, when we walked out of the plane, they were there, taking pictures. They're excited, and that makes me excited. And the ladies... I've seen some pretty ladies, which is always exciting. It's our first time here, and anytime when it's your first time, you gotta do it! You gotta do it right! So that you guys say, "Hey, we want you to come back for round two."

So what did you hear about Indonesia before?

Skyblu: I heard about komodo dragons. Where are they?

It's in Komodo Island, far from Jakarta.

Skyblu: Oh, it's far. I wanna go catch one. It's like a tiny dinosaur, I want one as a pet. I wanna ride them.

So where do you get the idea for your costumes?

Skyblu: From komodo dragons. Hahah.. No, it's from animals, really. If you look at peacocks, you look at different things like birds, you see the colors that they have. Just an amazing array of colors. And you take the feathers and you create a hat. But then you let it grow back. They grow their feathers back.

Redfoo: Oooh! PETA is gonna be mad at us.
