Golden Village opens 11th cinema at City Square Mall
Residents living around Little India, Geylang and Serangoon will soon be able to get their movie fix right at their doorstep.
That's after cinema operator Golden Village opens its 11th location in Singapore at City Square Mall next Tuesday (official opening ceremony is a week later).
Located at the junction of Kitchener and Serangoon Road, the new GV multiplex will house six screens with a total seating capacity of 1,082. One of the auditorium will be a unique and intimate 42-seater 'Couple's Cinema'.
Built at a cost of S$6 million, all six cinemas will have stadium seating, ample leg room, wall-to-wall digital screens with crystal-clear digital projection.
In addition, GV City Square will also be Singapore's first cinema to feature an auto-gate system where a confirmed booking code will be sent directly to a moviegoer's phone.
