SINGAPORE - Blinks rejoice! Our favourite K-pop queens Blackpink are about to bring the heat and light up the National Stadium in Singapore this weekend (13 and 14 May).

Ahead of the excitement and frenzy, here are some helpful tips to make sure you have a smooth entry into the concert:

Plan your arrival time

While it's not likely to be Coachella levels, standing pen ticket holders are advised to:

  • Check the queue number printed on your ticket

  • Locate the queue area listed in the event page on Singapore Sports Hub's website

  • Join your designated queue from 2.30pm.

The standing pen ticket queue closes at 4pm. Those who are only able to arrive after will have to join the queue with seated tickets holders, who can only enter from 6pm onwards.

Seated tickets patrons, on the other hand, are encouraged to arrive early or ideally at 6pm when gates open. Check your ticket for the the gate number and enter through the security checkpoint nearest to their gate.

Best to take public transport and carry only essentials

Due to limited parking spaces, it is advisable to take public transport. Those travelling by private transport are advised to alight or board at designated points for ease of traffic flow.

Concertgoers are highly encouraged to carry only essentials for quick security checks. Brighten up your mobile screen and have your e-tickets ready for easy scanning.

The public is reminded by Singapore Sports Hub to only purchase original tickets and official merchandise from authorised sources.

You can find official merchandise booths at OCBC Square and Singapore Indoor Stadium North Plaza Shelter. The booths will be open at 9am on both 13 and 14 May.

Full event details such as merchandise booth location information and operating hours, security checkpoints, queue zones and admission rules, will be available on Singapore Sports Hub's event page from Thursday.
