One of the most festive holidays is upon us—Mardi Gras. The celebratory last day of carnival season precedes Lent, which means that many people do their best to indulge in all their favorite foods before they inevitably give one of them up for the next 40 days. To celebrate, many of our favorite chains across the country are giving customers limited time deals and New Orleans-inspired menu items to enjoy for the next few days.

Here's what we're looking forward to getting our hands on:

Popeyes

From February 25 through March 3, fans can indulge in Popeyes' chicken sandwiches for just $4—after all, Nola loves its fried chicken. Additionally, on Fat Tuesday (March 4th this year), customers can take advantage of happy hour menu prices all day long, with deals starting at $2.

Applebee's

Looking to get Big Easy-style eats without flying all the way to New Orleans? Well, Applebee's just rolled out a Big Easy Menu, with Bourbon Street dishes starting at $11.99. The new mouthwatering menu options include newcomers Bourbon Street Chicken & Andouille Sausage Penne and Blackened Shrimp & Andouille Sausage Penne, as well as returning items like Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp, Bourbon Street Mushroom Swiss Burger, and Bourbon Street Steak. But hop on these dishes quickly because they're only available for a limited time.

Krispy Kreme

On March 4, customers who wear Mardi Gras beads into a Krispy Kreme shop or drive-thru can receive one free Original Glazed Doughnut without any purchase necessary.

Logan's Roadhouse

For a limited time, Logan's Roadhouse will have a Cajun-inspired menu just in time for Mardi Gras. The limited time menu features dishes such as Cajun Seafood Dip, Beer-Battered Onion Rings, Cedar Plank Salmon, Shrimp Stacked Trout, Lemon Pepper Trout, Coconut Shrimp Dinner, Blackened Shrimp & Sausage Gumbo, Roadhouse Gumbo, and Key Lime Cheesecake. Additionally, through a partnership with GiftAMeal, diners at over 100 Logan's locations can scan a QR code and share a photo of the meal to trigger a restaurant-funded donation to a local food bank. Win-win!

la Madeleine

This southern chain has Mardi Gras menu items available now through March 4. Head to your local café to take advantage of additional dishes like the Sausage Pouchette, Jambalaya, Cajun-Spiced Shrimp Baguette Sandwiches, or if you happen to live in Louisiana, a King Cake.

Shipley Do-Nuts

For a limited time only, customers can snag mini beignets at their local Shipley Do-Nuts locations. Best of all, they're served warm, just like in Nola.
