Benjamin Yuen and Bowie Cheung to hold gender reveal party

22 Jun – Benjamin Yuen and Bowie Cheung recently made their first public appearance since announcing that they are soon to be parents.

As reported on Mingpao, on 19 June, the couple appeared at the 2023 TVB Mid-Year Programme Tour event in Wanchai, beaming happily when the media asked about their unborn baby.

Said Bowie, they have already known the gender of the baby, being more than four months pregnant, and that they will be holding a gender reveal party soon.

Meanwhile, Benjamin stated that he doesn't mind if it's a girl or a boy, adding, "I usually browse toys for myself when I go shopping. But now I have started looking at baby products."

The couple stated that they will be consulting their elders and fortune tellers for the baby's Chinese names, and will give the baby an English name that starts with a B so that it would match both of their names.

Meanwhile, Benjamin stated that he will be filming a new variety show with Owen Cheung soon.

Asked if he is worried about leaving Bowie on her own, Benjamin said, "I was worried before, but now that she is entering her second trimester, I am more at ease.

"It's me who is more worried," said Bowie. "Riding a motorcycle all day would hurt his bones and will consume lots of his energy."

The couple announced the pregnancy back on 1 June
