Ben Wong becomes spokesperson for his own brand
30 May – Hong Kong actor Ben Wong recently became the spokesperson for his own skincare brand, La Puro.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor who invested a seven-digit sum in the business earlier this year, recently spoke to the media at the photo-shoot for the brand and revealed that his involvement as the spokesperson is good for the business.
"First of all, it's more convincing if you are the spokesperson for your product. Secondly, you can use the capital instead for investing on higher quality equipment or expanding the business," he said.
Ben added that his position as the spokesperson will also help him be more involved in the business.
"Since I decided to do the business at the beginning of the year, I've been involved in different aspects of the trade. I learned a lot during the process," he added.
Aside from the business, the 50-year-old actor is also currently filming his new drama, "First Lady in a Dangerous City" alongside Adia Chan.
