Bella Astillah on ex-husband's khalwat case: It's no longer my responsibility
5 Mar - Bella Astillah has nothing much to say about her ex-husband Aliff Aziz, who recently changed his plea to guilty for his khalwat case with actress Ruhainies.
The singer, who was asked to comment about the development when she appeared at a Ramadan event recently, said that she is thankful to God, but that any decision that the two made has nothing to do with her anymore.
"It is no longer my responsibility. I just want to focus on myself and my children," she said.
The mother of two also declined to address the notion that her ex-husband's guilty plea proves that she was right all along, saying that keeping quiet is better.
"I don't want to say the wrong thing. But I believe that if we do good things, God willing, good things will come to us," she added.
Both Aliff and Ruhainies have paid a fine of RM3,000 after pleading guilty to khalwat, after they were arrested at a luxury condominium together back in March last year.
The case was the straw that broke the camel's back, prompting Bella to file for divorce from Aliff last year.
