Barbie Imperial confirms romance with Diego Loyzaga
4 Jan – Two days after Diego Loyzaga's announcement that he is now dating Barbie Imperial, the actress finally took to social media to confirm their romance.
On 3 January, Imperial posted a photo of her and Loyzaga at the Pinto Art Museum on Instagram, and wrote, "Still my [favourite] photo of us. Totally unexpected to fall for someone I thought I'd be just friends with forever but I'm really happy to have found both love [and] friendship with this one.
"Thank you for making me happy [and] feel loved. Thank you for everything that you do to make me feel the love I deserve. So thankful for you, thank God for you."
Back on 1 January, Loyzaga shared a photo of him and Imperial at the beach at night to announce that they are dating.
He wrote, "Happy new year to us. Thanks for making the end of my 2020 memorable. Lets gooo 2021!!"
In a previous interview on "Magandang Buhay", Imperial admitted that Loyzaga had been courting her after many years of friendship, adding that she was reluctant to date him in the past because she was afraid to ruin the friendship that they already have.
