Barbie Forteza to star in remake of "Anak ni Waray vs Anak ni Biday"
22 Nov – Barbie Forteza is set to star in a new GMA-7 primetime series, "Anak ni Waray vs Anak ni Biday".
As reported on PEP, the new series will be a remake of the 1984 movie of the same name, which starred Nida Blanca, Maricel Soriano, Gloria Romero and Snooky Serna. The latter will also return for the new series.
Aside from Serna, Dina Bonnevie will also play an important character in the remake.
"Anak ni Waray vs Anak ni Biday" will start with the story of former best friends Amy and Sussie - to be played by Serna and Bonnevie - who fell in love and impregnated by the same man, only to have their babies then switched at birth.
Forteza will play the role as one of the two children, who crosses path with her half-sister Caitlyn (Kate Valdez) and the two become best friends.
