Bangs Garcia to tie the knot in January 2017
11 Feb - Valerie "Bangs" Garcia, who got engaged to Pinoy-British boyfriend Lloydi Birchmore last year, revealed recently that the two of them will be tying the knot next year.
According to PEP News, the actress, who attended the press conference of her upcoming TV5 drama "Ang Panday" recently, was singing praises for her fiancé, saying that he is willing to stay in the Philippines so that she could continue to work as an actress.
"He's a property developer, so he wants to build me a house here and in London, so we can go back and forth," she said.
Garcia also revealed that Birchmore is in full support of her plans to open up an art cafe.
"I love cooking and painting, so at the cafe, I can do both - cooking and displaying my paintings at the same time," she said.
When asked about their marriage plans, Garcia stated that the two of them will be tying the knot in January 2017 in Boracay, the place where the two of them first met and where he proposed last year.
"It's going to be a beach wedding. He's coming here on 1 March and will be talking to a wedding planner," said the actress.
Garcia enthused that although she doesn't plan for a grand wedding, she would have to think carefully about her wedding guests, as well as the guests from his side of the family.
"I am so happy that I am marrying my best friend. It's important in a relationship for you to be best friends with your partner at the same time," she added.
