Baby Shima relieved that man who threatened her life is arrested in Kuching

3 Jan - Baby Shima can now breathe a sigh of relief after the man who threatened to kill her has now been nabbed by the police.

The singer, who reported to have received threats from a man saying that he will kill her if she comes to Sarawak, said that the action that was taken serves as a reminder to people to refrain from the crime.

"All victims must be brave to lodge a report to the police even when you feel threatened. Our country has laws," she said.

Baby Shima, real name Nor Ashima Ramli, said that she has no issue with people not liking or even hating her, but that threatening murder against her is crossing the line.

The singer reported the threats to the Sibu Police Station while in the area for a concert organised by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture.

The man in question, who is revealed to be a lorry driver, was detained at 9.15pm on 31 December at Kota Sentosa, Kuching.
